Though I’m an adult, I understand the Harry Potter phenomenon fully.  That world is imaginative and well thought-out, the characters interesting, and the plot compelling.  The Twilight Saga mystifies me, though.  Perhaps these first two films were as poorly made as the first two Harry Potter films or The Golden Compass.  These characters are bland, the production values poor, and every convention done a dozen times previously by better storytellers.

The only reason I saw New Moon was because a (mistaken) friend told me it was better than the original.  I went on faith, and wasted my money.  Don’t do the same.
