I imagine the moment when some producer in some office somewhere in Hollywood read the Bride Wars screenplay and said “this is the one; let’s produce this!”  That moment was an offense to every screenwriter who ever wrote a script worth producing, and the resulting film is an offense to every poor sap who paid to rent the DVD or see the movie.  This is schlock of the most shameless form.
